Barbados - No longer a fantasy realm, but instead a genuinely democratic Republic!

You're infinitely more than just a  

homeland to me, for in essence  

you're distinctively my truest  

inspiration, the natural fulcrum of  

everything, that constructive and  

quite markedly beneficial in my  

life, are the instigative force, of  

each positive, and meaningful  

aspiration that has obviously  

done, remarkably enticingly 

still does; and, so assuredly 

will carry on doing so well  

into my upcoming future! 

Additionally too, you're the 

forge and anvil that quite  

intimately, scrupulously  

and rather skilfully permanently  

fashioned the crucially separate  

but basically distinctive strands 

effectively, of my own parental  

genetic and similarly ancestral  

DNA into specifically what I've   

vibrantly, unquestionably and  

dutifully individually become: 

a fully fledged member of my 

Collymore family Klan, yet in  

essence also, still an outright  

and loyal Bajan all the same! 

A term, synonymous to so many 

people, past and present, who 

for an enduring and positive 

good of our country have actually, 

both individually and collectively  

shaped, the course of our nation. 

A nation, and a beloved one, we 

know as, and are very proud to  

refer to, as Barbados. And also, 

where in colloquial jargon our  

navel strings so appropriately 

respectively, either physically  

or spiritually, are delightedly 

thankfully, blessedly buried;  

a fascinating, magnificently 

impressive, and proud fact. 

And from St. Lucy to St. Philip; 

St. Joseph to St. James, and 

the areas in between let  

us all in reverence and gratitude 

solemnity pause and thankfully  

reflect in humble supplication  

how far, we've come; and the 

multiple sacrifices attendant  

with the numerous, positive 

assistance which our proud 

Black ancestors; regardless  

of whatever, their status in  

life or origin, did indelibly  

make, to the ongoing plus  

progressive development  

of our Barbadian Nation. 

And in their names, our own and 

those, as presently unborn, but 

fittingly destined to be future  

Barbadians - let us quite gloriously 

celebrate with Pride and Industry 

but never forgetting, the chilling 

cum calamitous adversities that 

were enforcedly occasioned, to   

us by slavery which shaped us 

fundamentally into decisively  

who and specifically what we 

now so indisputably are, as a 

nation and very approvingly  

alright, for the 21st Century; 

a characteristic progressive  

bedded with a meritocratic 

forte, democratic Republic.

On the 30th November 2021, St. Andrew's Day - St. Andrew is the Patron Saint of Barbados - my ancestral homeland of Barbados will be celebrating both the 55th anniversary of its attainment of independence on this day in 1966, while significantly too on this auspicious day the Government ans citizens of Barbados will voluntarily and quite approvingly relinquish 396 continuous years as an English realm and have Barbados become a Republic.  

It"s a move towards republicanism that I've longstandingly and wholeheartedly supported and will neither make apologies nor court any explanations, least of all on this momentous and celebratory occasion, for my decisions and actions, other than to say, read my published works and you'll be able to acquaint yourselves with them. 

Instead I shall be avidly celebrating with my fellow Bajans and supportive non-Barbadian friends, as I likewise pay tribute and extend my earnest gratitude to all those who in so many diverse and similarly also not uncommonly multitudinous and exceptionally courageous ways, and often invariably at great personal risk and sacrifice to themselves, and therefore enabled us who are presently here to be at the significantly important stage that we're currently at. My indebted and enormously grateful thanks to you and God's eternal blessing be upon you. 

To our exceptionally brilliant Prime Minister: The Right Honourable Mia Mottley, our first ever female Prime Minister with the added distinction of being the only leader of a Barbadian political party to contest a General Election and win every constituency seat for their respective party - yes you did read that correctly - every single one of them to reiterate what I earlier said, in a General Election to the Barbados Parliament, and effectively, quite impressively and exclusively doing so in the 382 years old continuous history of the Barbados Parliament - the Barbados Parliament was established in 1639 and has been going continuously ever since to the present day; is itself older than the formation of several European countries including Europe's economic powerhouse Germany, the white British dominions of Australia, New Zealand and Canada and, of course, Britain's former North American colonies and now themselves a REPUBLIC, the United States of America - is no mean feat or achievement on Mia Mottley and her Barbados Labour Party (BLP) part. Furthermore, the only parliament that is continuously older than the Barbados one is the House of Commons situated in London, England. 

Mia Mottley's landslide victory - no hyperbole needed as it was simply that - was reinforced by the fact that in her Barbados Labour Party (BLP) manifesto and during her elections campaigning Mia Mottley categorically said that on her and her party winning the elections in 2018 Barbados would become a Republic. And she won those elections, as I said earlier, by a literal landslide and, accordingly, has kept her word.  Furthermore, after my article in 1989 which triggered the national debate about Barbados politically moving to a republican status all the local political parties began moving in that direction and the political party of which I'm a lifelong member, the Barbados Democratic Party (DLP) together with Mia Mottley's BLP and others participated in a National Commission on the matter and from which was unanimously decided that Barbados should become a Republic.

So why needlessly have a pointless referendum in view of all this and the absolute landslide in the 2018 General Elections when Mia Mottley not only campaigned on this issue, but it was also a party manifesto issue that the Barbadian electorate was fully cognizant of and also au fait with and accordingly gave Mia Mottley the political mandate she'd successfully campaigned for. And just because white western politicians generally and British ones in particular don't keep their campaign promises - which are usually lying and deceitfully disingenuous in the first place, doesn't mean that Black Bajan politicians should behave likewise, specifically when they don't! So do climb down from your white and hypocritically self-servingly bandwagon that Bajans were denied a referendum on the issue of Barbados becoming a Republic; as in the obvious circumstances a referendum wasn't needed! As the electorate had comprehensively spoken on the matter in the 2018 General Elections. 

Thus Mia Mottley kept her word as she's always politically done. A true chip off the old block, and I'm here referring to her late grandfather: Ernest Deighton Mottley (1907-1973) a very astute politician, a renowned Barbadian philanthropist and a self-made successful businessman who used his own money beneficially and altruistically, and not for political purposes, to help numerous poor Black Bajan families, enabling parents to provide food for their children, ensure that there was a roof over their head, and assist them with tuition fees to be able to attend Grammar School and subsequently acquire a university education that they otherwise would not be able to afford.  

All this when whites through their egregiously political and blatantly transparent gerrymandering exercises, engaged in for their own white, demographic minotity but self-evidently privileged position literally controlled Barbadian politics and for their own personal benefit. Since any white resident, and even white visitors to Barbados could vote in locally held elections but when it came to Black adults each of them had to be earning in excess of an arbitrarily prescribed for them continuously earning wage in order to be eligible to vote; failing that stipulation they were denied the right to vote in their own country. 

Consequently white employers routinely ensured that Blacks generally were racially proscribed from having decent and well paid jobs as a matter of normalcy, while whites irrespective of their actual skills were designated top jobs with those jobs attendant salaries. A state of affairs that invariably saw Blacks doing the actual work that these whites had no competency for but were nevertheless the ones who got paid these outlandish salaries that the Blacks doing their work for them were never paid. And in respect of this kind of voter restrictions on Blacks and other non-whites and the processes of political gerrymandering, just fast forward to the USA in 2021 and those repulsive states, country wide, racist and determinant practices there; plus the embedded racism of inured convict, genocider and delusional Terra nuliius white Australia demanding laws, themselves supported by the courts, where indigenous Aborigines, who as a people have continuously lived on their island continent home for in excess of 65,000 years could be summarily deported from their homeland Australia in a manner in which it wouldn't be contemplated on in the case of whites, let alone remotely acted upon. Couldn't make any of this up! Could you? But then, as you well know, white privilege rules, okay? 

It was Errol Walton Barrow a Royal Air Force distinguished World War Two veteran and the Father of Barbados' independence that changed all that. On return home post World War Two he founded the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) and when he became Premier of Barbados Errol Barrow made sweeping changes. My family could afford my Grammar School fees but all such fees were scrapped and education throughout Barbados became universally free for everyone who was Bajan, from kindergarten to postgraduate university studies. A first rate National Health Service was likewise instituted, free to all Bajans wherever they were born; and like the same free educational mandate is still in place nationally and going strong. Voter restrictions were abolished and the voting age lowered to 18 years; long before Britain even thought of let one contemplated soing so. 

Mia Mottley's grandfather was the Premier and Prime Minister that Barbados during his time deserved but never got because of the white privileged control of his and my own homeland. Errol Barrow made amends for that; he also became my friend and mentor, just like Mia Mottley's grandfather was, as well as other politicians of both the DLP  and the Barbados Labour Party (BLP). 

When I became old enough and eligible to do so I happily joined the DLP - the party created by Errol Barrow - but like most Bajans my loyalty was similarly first and foremost to Barbados and still is. A situation that was demonstrated most graphically and decisively when Mia Mottley uniquely won her evidently impressively, outstanding landslide in the 2018 Barbados General Elections, with massive numbers of the electorate of all parties, and not just Mia Mottley's BLP, voting for her. Because like her late grandfather and other phenomenally outstanding Barbadian political figures - the likes of Errol Barrow, Owen Arthur, Homey Corbin, David Thompson and also Josh Haynes - some of whom became Prime Minister of Barbados, and who like Mia's grandfather are most regrettably no longer with us; these were political stalwarts and unquestionably loyal, patriotic Bajans of the kind that Mia Mottley herself is undeniably moulded from. 

And taking into full consideration that it was our Black women who kept our race intact during the systemic and barbaric emasculation of Black men during our enforced slavery, it's only fitting, I honestly and confidently believe, that as our mutual Barbados - the Birthplace of the Transatlantic Slave Trade - now maturedly transitions from being a realm to a Republic with its own Barbadian Head of State, that quite appropriately and decisively both our first President, Dame Sandra Mason, as well as our similarly first female Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Mia Mottley, MP are both ladies! Thank you Barbados; and God Bless Them both; our Citizens too and our Republic of Barbados.

  

Drowned refugees; what's the problem? Just floating chaff in the Channel trying to reach England!

do discernibly in the eyes of 

their undeniably hate filled 

protagonists do possess the  

wrong skin colour, clearly  

damned, by a repugnantly 

useless, inferior ethnicity.

They quite honestly don't 

belong here; must firmly 

be driven away, and also 

what actually overrated 

or supposed calamitous 

consequences that duly 

come their way or they 

claim to acutely suffer,  

who personally cares? 

None of our white race invited 

them, the endemic racists say, 

but who themselves clearly 

ironically, have great loads of their 

similarly likeminded kith and kin 

scum relations, and close friends 

in inured convict Australia, New 

Zealand, manifestly too Canada, 

Southern Africa, likewise Latin 

America, across the Caribbean

What a truly dreadful shame 

that the multiple indigenous 

inhabitants, of those several 

countries, across the Global  

South, and aptly elsewhere 

globally didn't respond too 

in identically the way that 

whites irrefutably, clearly 

then so evilly universally 

inside Britain, and across 

mainland Europe rigidly 

now, inhumanly harshly

behaving towards them;

not actually exclusively 

at home but insultingly 

also, in those countries  

they evidently weren't 

invited to, but entered  

nevertheless, anyway.  

And have since then quite 

arbitrarily controlled to 

the evident detriment 

accordingly of their indigenous 

peoples that quite discernibly 

have no say in the control or 

for that matter the effective 

running, of their very own 

unquestionably, distinctly 

appropriated indigenous 

homelands now harshly 

arrogantly and suitably 

exclusively, from their 

political conditioning 

and suitably entitled, 

correct white hands. 

And you brazen white 

hypocrites have the 

sheer and arrant 

audacity to arrogantly and

likewise so, pretentiously 

extravagantly allocate to 

yourselves the crucially 

specious designation of 

being characterized, as 

unquestionably, rather 

uniquely and patently 

distinctively, civilised  

white Caucasians! Oh

to have astutely gone

To all those among you who're asking the seemingly obvious question why are all these migrants leaving their home countries and both intrepidly and dangerously travelling to Europe generally and similarly, as is also the case, England specifically?  To really answer your question truthfully let's radically but honestly change the narrative, get you personally out of your endemically entrenched and distinctly delusional state of inured denial and have you hopefully, face the reality of what's being asked even if you haven't the actual courage and the requisite decency likewise to fully acknowledge and rationally accept what the truthful answer is.  

My initial question, and to which the answer is patently obvious, who do you think initially started this global intrusion, several centuries ago and which is still ongoingly so in the 21st Century, distinctively and invariably also discernibly uninvited into other people's countries? 

A situation customarily followed by the undeniably, clearly resoundingly and the rather obsessively, barbaric and quite permanent appropriation of these several indigenous peoples countries, their wealth; irrefutably, invaluable precious artefacts and as well their countries precious natural resources.  

A repulsive state of affairs that rather invariably led to the quite repugnant and systemic subjugation, customary enslavement, and rather figuratively even worst still, rationally basically trying to assume that all the several odiously and purposely perpetrated  calamities were somehow minor in nature, which wholly self-evidently they plainly weren't; the graspingly avaricious seizure and total control  of the indigenous peoples lands and countries, as was rather barbarously done in inured convict, genocider, endemically white racist and clearly, in view of the incontrovertible facts and evidence that the Indigenous  Aborigines had been living on their island continent continuously for in excess of 65,000 years, an arrogantly and pathologically lying in their self- entitled and pathetic state of white denial that that land they arbitrarily renamed as Australia was effectively Terra nuliius; essentially devoid of people before these whites, belatedly and uninvited, arrival there; since quite evidently to these inured racists and white supremacists the Black Aborigines weren't only unqualified for the status of human beings, they were actually too perceived as worse than vermin that could, and were liberally, eradicated at will - clearly intentional genocide in other words! 

And it wasn't just in Australia that this sick and twisted white mindset was played out. It happened too in New Zealand in relation to the Maori nation; as was the case with the similarly indigenous peoples of what, in a similar white arbitrary change, became Canada; the United States of America; so-called Latin America where, in Argentina for example, the entire indigenous population was systematically eradicated; within the Caribbean amongst the Arawaks and the Caribs, and specifically and most egregiously, as is still the case, across the entirety of the African continent. 

And these white barbarians weren't just from Britain alone but similarly as well the entirety of the European continent, and consisted of both genders. Yet, in spite of all the totally intentional, malevolent and evidently clear egregious atrocities carried out against these several global peoples and that you're still engaged in as whites to this very day, while quite tenaciously hanging on to and still profiting immensely as you've always done in the past from what you have most barbarically, and rather happily so, appropriated and equally still exclusively control to this day to the specific exclusion and injurious detriment of all these same effected indigenous peoples and nations globally, you nevertheless still have the sheer nerve and bloody audacity, as whites, to perniciously and utterly self-servingly not only contemptibly, arrogantly and through your rather murderously barbaric actions against migrants seeking a better life in the countries within  Europe - and most specifically so Britain - where their purloined national and ancestral wealth is hoarded and made full use of by its privileged white recipients - you actually have the gall, and irony completely lost on you brainwashed and braindead whites, to likewise want and actually expect to have an all white Britain, attendant with a similar mainland Europe too; and all this coupled with the same hostile, identical and attitudinal situation, through their innate political, psychological and sociologically quite racist immigration policies, plainly characteristic of Australia, New Zealand, Canada and, of course, the United States of America. 

And where the very same USA, fully cognizant of a truly major historical demographic change in that country, since whites so effectively executed their clearly successful, accursed and both genocidal policies and practices against Native Americans, is literally doing its utmost best - and not just Donald Drumpf and his Republican Nazis but similarly too the Joe Biden equivalent; quite disingenuously and dishonestly rather publicly labelling themselves as "moderates" when in actuality they're nothing of the kind and are characteristically themselves nothing more than likeminded and as well such repugnantly cowardly and surreptitiously klansmen absolutely petrified that the white demographic superiority in the USA is coming to its natural and effective end; a thought that petrifies the Hell out of them all; and accounts for the plethora of anti-voting laws and the gerrymandering of electoral boundaries to maintain and ensure that a demographically white, USA minority population thus indefinitely and illegally, on the basis principally of skin colour exclusively, controls political power indefinitely in the supposed land of the free. 

Something, which Joe Biden for all of his dishonest talk and disingenuous actions - callously oblivious to the fact that it was principally the Black and other people of colour that massively voted him into office - along with his personal and closest advisers do not mind at all; since with their ingrained Stockholm Syndrome mindset there's no real difference seriously between themselves, Donald Drumpf and his Nazi, Fascist and redneck cohorts! 

And to those of you who're firmly and arrogantly ensconced in your rigidly racist state of denial and that usually flippantly say it's all history and also so much water under the bridge, just move on! Yes it is obviously history! But rather undeniably, a toxic and a malevolently evil history, for which neither the perpetrators nor their privileged white beneficiaries have conscionably, morally or else legally owned up to and clearly irrefutably so because those victims and equally their descendants don't look like you, so you see no reason why you should give any notice or consideration at all to them! Wrong! Justice clearly, isn't always expeditiously served, and so it can be a most egregious experience for those who're intentionally, rather injuriously and racially wronged; but however long it actually takes, justice ultimately, does really triumph over evil. Arrogant and insensitive racist whites like yourselves customarily might not actually believe that; but seriously, what basically intelligent person truly cares about your sick and twisted opinions; and especially so on moral issues that don't or will ever feature in you blighted and so evidently ethically lacking pointless lives?

You won't be here indefinitely in the same way that you ancestors aren't, and the enforced changes on your part weren't made during the time of your ancestors; think on that! So what legacy do you truthfully want to leave to your precious grandchildren and also their offspring when you're permanently gone? As our collective Black and non-white fight for justice and equality; the full, inviolate and as well the justly uncompromising, true recognition and acceptance by whites of their moral and lawful obligations towards the requisite compensation and reparations in due respect of the barbaric in the past, but still ongoing subjugation and the so intentionally  injurious abuse of our people, isn't a flash in the pan! And frankly, is that what you want to leave as the legacy  for your unborn offspring after you have thankfully and, so despisingly, inevitably gone?  

In conclusion, for all you endemic racists and white supremacists who want, regardless of its barbaric and imperialist past, to have, and quite specifically so pertaining to England, an all white Britain, let me close with the chillingly egregious words of that bloody odious, racist, and also white supremacist like yourselves who you asininely but quite unsurprisingly so voted for as Britain's greatest human being - in reality a facsimile more likely of human kind considering his pleasurable genocidal propensities and actual activities - Winston Churchill. 

These are his actual words, recorded and enshrined for eternity: "The murder and eradication of countless Native Americans and Australian Aborigines wasn't a bad thing because a stronger race, a higher grade race, a more worldly wise race to put it that way, has come in and taken their place". 

And you idiotic clowns still hanker for and want an all white Britain? Should have stayed at home then! Since you were quite literally over there - in our countries - before we were ever over here! Priti Patel: The Home Office, bleached skin, Stockholm Syndrome, ironically anti-Black, Asian Nazi; wilfully, Windrush Generation Killer!

The western world, and that 

obviously includes Britain, 

is currently a dangerous 

place, clearly specifically made so 

by crucially anti-Black, and most 

ironically too Asian racist scum 

like Stockholm Syndrome, also 

evidently enabling and Useful 

Idiots facsimile, absolutely so 

discernibly masquerading as

This poem intentionally, conscientiously, very thoughtfully, honestly, deliberately and most unapologetically written with utmost equanimity is a literary requiem, on behalf of every Windrush Generation member, alive or dead, for the hopefully and expectantly imminent demise by whatever means of the following: Theresa May, Amber Rudd, Sajid Javid and Priti Patel, along with their racist enablers and the close family members of all of the aforementioned.  

Curious free speech; you see it as a one way and exclusive street for your racist, Fascist, Nazi and white supremacist indulgences. I don't, and here will accordingly express my own right to free speech and its attendant freedom of expression and categorically state that it's my objective analysis that the lot of you neither currently, nor have you done so in the past, been of any bloody good to the UK far less so the wider global community. Are therefore, an absolutely bloody waste of space, and frankly in the interest of every decent and moral aspect of humanity would unquestionably be infinitely better for the overall good of human kind, and irrefutably so if the lot of you were dead!

The readers and genuine followers of my work know the full story of what you sorry specimens of supposed humanity: Theresa May, Amber Rudd, and wannabe whites Sajid Javid and Priti Patel, have pathetically and barbarically done, and still collude in injuriously doing to the Windrush Generation overall and their survivors in particular.  And nothing would please me more, bearing in mind all those that between yourselves you've intentionally MURDERED, and want to carry on doing the same to the remaining Windrush Generation survivors; that you and yours similarly exit this world in the same retributive fashion that David Amess did! 

And to cite an old Barbadian saying I've been fully cognizant of all my life as a surety that good will ultimately triumph over evil however long it takes: "God doesn't sleep, nor turn away from injustices when they're malevolently done, but instead acts in His own way and time!  

Finally for Priti Patel quite recently to disingenuously claim that the Home Office that she presides over as Home Secretary isn't fit for purpose - who better than her, her deceitful  soundbites temporarily aside, to be fully cognizant of that!  

As for my honest perspective? Just rot in your upcoming Hell: Theresa May, Amber Rudd, Sajid Javid, Priti Patel and the rest of you evilly malevolent and odiously repugnant, noxious lot!

I consistently see advertised Go Fund Me campaigns for all sorts of dubious causes. So how about setting up one for a truly meritorious one. The BBC will survive as it has done over the years, so I've no worries about that.  

What I would like to see though is the permanent elimination of the Aussie  Nazi and Fascist nonengenarian and additionally an utterly repulsive narcissist by the name of Keith Rupert Murdoch, whose departure from this earth would be a commensurate benefit to the overwhelming majority of humanity; bearing in mind too that this odious and evilly formulated piece of human garbage hardly qualifies as a human being!  

So for an oik who is not a British citizen, who doesn't pay any taxes into the UK coffers yet has British Prime Ministers of both the major UK political parties, cabinet ministers, the right wing British media and their crony columnists in his financial pocket, telling them all to get rid of the BBC because he wants to be personally rid of the BBC and institute through sheer greed on his own and his enablers part a monopolistic media entity controlled by him, and with zero public accountability, and based solely on greed is utterly repulsive to me. 

This is not the 1930s Keith Rupert Murdoch! Hence the proposed Go Fund Me suggestion. That when you next set foot on UK soil that'll be your last act of doing so. And therefore an appropriate carve up of you Rupert and your known enablers. Bringing home forcefully and forcibly that violence isn't a one way Fascist and Nazi street. This clearly should have happened a long time ago; but better late than never!
