To all those who avidly support Charles cancelling his New Zealand tour and in actual effect blaming the Maori people for this, alleging that these indigenous inhabitants - my terminology not theirs - don't accord to Charles the dignity and respect that he purportedly deserves as the monarch both of the UK and equally New Zealand also; a very distinctly sick state of affairs which these bemoaners also go on to state that the government of New Zealand does nothing to simply rein in and permanently alter equally.

Amongst the several brilliant teachers I've had at school and most particularly so at the grammar school I attended in Barbados, crucially the Alleyne School, the third oldest such institution within the Caribbean and very obviously also the so-called New World, which rather effectively though quite so to the white Caucasian interlopers that came across what they subsequently and arrogantly renamed the Americas was only really new to their sort - the evidently oldest ones, first Combermere and Harrison College, I warmly suggest you research their origins, history and significantly when they were established, and are still all going academically strong, are equally in Barbados where education is and has always been paramount even during British slavery!

A visual slim down is not actual reality within the British monarchical family! This poem stems from a response I made to a comment I received from a reader of an earlier poem I'd written and is entitled: "Why sycophantically fawn over people you really don't know and never will, beats me!"

The commenter had actually written in response to that poem and I verbatim quote: "Tradition. We all need heroes. Links to the past. National symbols. Lots of reasons. What's the problem?" End of quote.

After my distinct response to the above comment the said commenter actually wrote the following: "Luvvit!" Which is quite self-explanatory. It was then that I decided to do a full follow up poem that's based on my remarks to the aforementioned commenter. Decide for yourself as this individual has done. Below is a continuation of my Remarks in addition to those already included in this new poem.

Hypocrisy in overdrive as no European country is in the hands of any race that is apart from white Caucasians and all non-whites there essentially constitute a minuscule minority.

I could actually go on and further trash your supposition as I'm thoroughly well researched in what I write and actually will never depart from that stance. But I can't help but smile at times when in their bogus "arguments" these critics either conveniently overlook their own odiously noxious past or with a rather contemptuous shrug of their shoulders declare it was a long time ago, that the past cannot be altered and one should simply, just aptly, learn from it. Really? An Academic for many years of my life and a qualified journalist as well, I truly do recognize a cop out when I see one as well as really vile disingenuousness.  

Incestuous, sexual abuse!

Carol Higgins has clearly really
shown considerable courage,
strength and determination
to actually ultimately achieve an official
recognition, of the odious wrongs done
to her both by her father and the police
force to whom she reported the sexual
abuse by her dad but who undoubtedly
instead of literally discernibly listening
to her and really properly investigating
her serious complaints, chose instead
to callously ignore her while also quite
uncaringly belittle her as well. Literally
unquestionably so, Carol should never
have been put in such a very invidious
situation and while I'd basically like to  
think that crucially after 39 years with
her father's belated conviction and 20
years, prison incarceration; attendant,
rather finally, with an apology for their
awful errors, from that relevant police
force and coupled albeit with a rather
miserly compensation from them, for
what they very miserably failed to do!

Now hopefully not only the police
but people generally, have quite
suitably progressively moved
on literally in this the 21st Century, from
the archaic attitude very commonplace
in the 20th Century era. However, truly
I'm not wholly convinced though, that
such an approach as my own, is truly
compatible with what's still evidently
distinctly, undeniably regarded, even
within such clearly troubled families
as well as commonly so, universally
and effectively an instigatory factor
of the unquestionably abused child.

£15,000 Pounds compensation? Really! Yet some delicate flowers upset by a rude or uncaring remark made to them or even overheard at work, and often significantly so in the public sector, get tens, and even uncommonly quite literally really hundreds of thousands of Pounds in compensation. Absolutely quite barmy!

All the same it's my honest belief that in cases like this one the offending police officers should be the ones paying such compensation out of their own pockets, rather than the money coming out of the public purse.

Keep it in the family; the apt intention but quite disconcerting belief of those who asininely but strongly believe in their perverse and repugnant delusions that they’re innately superior to everyone but themselves, and most precisely so those who have more melanin in their skin tone than they themselves possess!
